What we collect
When you book, we collect your name, contact details, date of birth and anything you tell us in the notes field. Your date of birth is used to verify you meet the minimum age for treatment.
At consultation we collect medical history, clinical photography and treatment records. This is special category health data and is held to a higher standard.
Why we hold it
To provide care, which is our legal basis of contract and, for health data, the provision of health treatment under Article 9(2)(h) UK GDPR.
To meet our record-keeping obligations as a regulated healthcare provider.
For marketing, only where you have opted in. You can withdraw that at any time without affecting your care.
How long we keep it
Clinical records are retained for eight years after your last appointment, in line with professional guidance. Records for patients treated under 18 are held until their 25th birthday. Marketing preferences are held until you withdraw them.
Who we share it with
Your prescriber and treating clinician. Our clinical records system, under a data processing agreement. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your records, ask for corrections, object to marketing, or ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain. Write to the address above, or email our data protection lead. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
